Mid of August I spent 4 days in Xiamen, together with my wife Sandy.

Xiamen is a city by the sea, located more or less at a midway between Shanghai and Hong Kong.
|
|
|
|
|
|
The city itself is not really special, similar to all the other cities in China, but the Gulangyu island is an interesting place to spend one day.
|
|
|
|
|
|
In addition, our hotel had a huge swimming pool and a very tasteful BBQ... what else should we ask for ? :-)
